Behemoth – The Satanist Tour

Phoenix Concert Theatre – April 26, 2016

Last night I went to see Behemoth at the Phoenix Concert Theatre.

We got there at 8:30 and the venue was already packed and Myrkur, the opening act, was already playing. I suggest you check her out as she was really good. I will definitely be buying her cd.

(A quick shout out to Noel from Inertia – he really knows how to put on good shows that run on time!)

Behemoth went on at 9:45 and wow, what an act to follow! They were incredible! What a stage presence! I was so impressed and proud of my Polish boys.

The show was well thought through, super creative, with haunting sound effects between the songs and some wicked lasers too. The band was also spitting blood all over their front audience.

I was mesmerized by the act and felt like I was taken on a Satanic journey through hell with Behemoth. I could have watched them all night.

Behemoth is known for taking selfies at the end of each concert with their audience, here it is from last night :)

Behemoth played The Satanist in its entirety. The sound was phenomenal and really captured the full brutality of the album. They ended the show with a quick encore of a few of their classics. By the time it was over the crowd was spent and all in agreement that this was a show to remember.
